What We Believe
At Christ Relief Evangelistic Mission Inc. (CREM), our faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of everything we do. Our evangelism, missionary support, humanitarian outreach, training, media ministry, partnerships, and service to communities are guided by the Word of God and our commitment to the Great Commission.
We believe the Holy Bible is divinely inspired and is God’s authoritative Word for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. The Scriptures reveal God’s truth and point humanity to Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16–17; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20–21We believe there is one living and true God, eternally revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Sovereign Lord over all creation.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is exalted at the right hand of God.
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, the only Mediator between God and humanity, and that He will return in power and glory.
John 1:1–14; John 3:16; Acts 4:12; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; 1 Timothy 2:5We believe the Holy Spirit is fully divine. He inspired the Scriptures, convicts humanity of sin, brings about regeneration, indwells believers, develops Christian character, gives spiritual gifts, and empowers believers for worship, service, witness, and evangelism.
John 14:16–17; John 16:7–14; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–25We believe every person is created in the image of God and possesses God-given dignity and worth. Humanity’s sin has separated us from God, and every person stands in need of His saving grace.
Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace and is received through repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers receive forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, new life, and the hope of eternal life.
John 3:16; Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9–10; Ephesians 2:8–9We believe the Church is the Body of Christ and includes all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ.
Believers are called to worship God, grow in His Word, fellowship with one another, make disciples, serve others, and participate in Christ’s mission throughout the world.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–16We believe Christian baptism and the Lord’s Supper are sacred ordinances given by Jesus Christ to His Church.
Baptism identifies the believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, while the Lord’s Supper remembers Christ’s sacrificial death and anticipates His return.
Matthew 28:19–20; Romans 6:3–5; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26We believe in the sovereign reign of God and that followers of Jesus Christ are called to seek His Kingdom and righteousness, demonstrating His love, truth, justice, mercy, and compassion in the world.
Matthew 6:33; Luke 4:18–19; Romans 14:17We believe Jesus Christ will personally return in power and glory. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, God’s final judgment, and the eternal hope of those who belong to Christ.
John 14:1–3; Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 21:1–4We believe the Great Commission is both the privilege and responsibility of every follower of Jesus Christ.
Christ has called His Church to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and demonstrate His love through faithful Christian witness and service. This conviction is central to the mission of CREM.
Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:13–15We believe followers of Christ should continually grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Biblical teaching, discipleship, mentoring, and practical ministry training help equip believers to live out their faith and fulfill the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:19–20; Ephesians 4:11–16; 2 Timothy 2:15We believe everything we have ultimately belongs to God. Christians are called to faithfully use their time, abilities, spiritual gifts, finances, opportunities, and material resources for God’s glory, the advancement of the Gospel, and the good of others.
Matthew 6:19–21; 1 Corinthians 4:1–2; 2 Corinthians 9:6–8We believe followers of Jesus Christ should work together to advance the Gospel and serve humanity.
CREM welcomes cooperation with churches, ministries, missionaries, Christian organizations, and appropriate community partners in evangelism, missions, Christian education, humanitarian service, and compassionate outreach without compromising our biblical convictions.
John 17:20–23; 1 Corinthians 3:6–9; Philippians 1:3–5We believe Christian faith should be demonstrated through both words and actions.
Followers of Christ are called to care for people in need, defend human dignity, show compassion to the vulnerable, encourage the brokenhearted, and serve others in the love of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 25:35–40; Luke 10:25–37; James 1:27; James 2:14–17We believe followers of Jesus Christ are called to pursue peace, reconciliation, forgiveness, righteousness, and love toward others.
Matthew 5:9; Romans 12:18; Hebrews 12:14We believe God alone is Lord of the conscience. We affirm religious liberty and the freedom of individuals to seek, worship, and serve God according to conscience without coercion.
Matthew 22:21; Acts 4:19–20; Romans 13:1–7We believe God established the family as a foundational institution of human society and that marriage is the covenant union of one man and one woman.
We believe husbands and wives are of equal worth before God and that parents have a sacred responsibility to love, nurture, protect, teach, and spiritually guide their children according to biblical truth.
Genesis 1:26–28; Genesis 2:18–25; Ephesians 5:21–33; Ephesians 6:1–4Our Faith in Action
