CREM ARM • Aid to Rural Missionary

Equipping Rural Missionaries. Reaching Remote Communities. Strengthening the Church.

In many parts of Liberia and other developing countries, inadequate road networks make it extremely difficult for pastors, evangelists, and missionaries to reach remote communities with the Gospel. Some villages can be reached only by narrow paths or trails, requiring missionaries to walk for hours—or even several days—to minister, evangelize, and establish churches.

The vision for this initiative was shaped in part by firsthand accounts of missionary work in rural Liberia, particularly the experiences of the late Rev. Andrew S. Sarwieh, Sr., veteran missionary pastor and church planter, and other rural pastors. Their stories tell of missionaries traveling long distances on foot into Liberia’s southeastern communities, determined to reach people with the Gospel and establish local churches.

International humanitarian organizations also demonstrated a practical transportation model: vehicles can travel as far as roads permit, while motorcycles and bicycles can provide access along smaller roads and trails.

Practical transportation can help rural pastors carry the Gospel, ministry materials, and compassionate support farther.

Rural Missionary Mobility Initiative

Motorcycles and Bicycles for Rural Pastors

Through the CREM ARM Rural Missionary Mobility Initiative, CREM seeks to provide motorcycles and bicycles to qualified rural pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and church planters.

A bicycle may serve pastors working within relatively accessible communities, while motorcycles may be designated for missionaries covering greater distances and more difficult terrain.

These resources can help missionaries:

  • Reach remote villages and towns more efficiently.
  • Reduce days of walking between ministry locations.
  • Carry Bibles, Gospel literature, and ministry supplies.
  • Conduct evangelistic outreaches and follow-up visits.
  • Plant and strengthen rural churches.
  • Respond more effectively to pastoral and humanitarian needs.

Rural Church Structure Initiative

Simple, Durable Places of Worship

CREM also envisions helping rural congregations establish simple, durable, and affordable permanent places of worship.

The proposed structure would be designed to accommodate up to approximately 200 worshippers. Subject to site conditions, engineering requirements, material availability, and local labor, the primary structural framework and roofing could potentially be erected within approximately one week.

The basic structural package may include:

  • Steel columns on properly designed concrete foundations or plinths.
  • Steel roof trusses secured to the columns.
  • Purlins and corrugated metal roofing.
  • A practical framework that can be completed in phases.

CREM would seek to provide the primary structural package at a highly subsidized cost. The beneficiary congregation would participate through local labor and take responsibility for completing the walls and other agreed finishing work. Every project would remain subject to local approvals, engineering review, safeguarding, transparent selection, and accountable stewardship.

Through ARM, CREM is committed to strengthening rural ministry, expanding access to the Gospel, and helping local churches serve their communities with dignity and effectiveness.

Taking the Gospel further—one missionary, one community, and one church at a time.

Through CREM Media Outreach Production, we use digital and social media as powerful tools to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encourage believers, inspire hope, and connect with people around the world.

Signature production

Your Daily Energizer

MOP produces Christ-centered videos and digital content for CREM’s social media outreach platforms. One of our signature productions is Your Daily Energizer, a short devotional series offering biblical encouragement, practical reflection, prayer, and spiritual motivation for everyday life.

Our media outreach also gives CREM partners a platform to share personal testimonies, biblical reflections, words of encouragement, and faith-building messages. Through these voices, we seek to address everyday questions from a biblical perspective and strengthen people in their relationship with God.

Reaching beyond borders

Digital media allows a message produced in one community to reach individuals, families, churches, and communities across nations within moments.

Our goal is not simply to build an online following, but to build meaningful relationships. We want people to feel connected, encouraged, spiritually strengthened, and inspired to share Christ-centered content with family members, friends, coworkers, churches, and others who need the hope of the Gospel.
